We founded Landshark in 2020 — and we’ve been rolling ever since!
You’ll find us skating from Monday to Saturday at Burgess Park and Decathlon Surrey Quays.

Beginners

No prior experience needed!
Whether you're a complete beginner or getting back into skating, this course will give you the confidence and skills to start rolling. We’ll help you develop your balance, posture, and coordination while learning how to:
  • Stand, roll, and stop safely
  • Turn and navigate comfortably
  • Improve your control and confidence

Improvers

Whether you're returning after a break or ready to progress from the basics, this course helps you build your flow, confidence, and control.
You’ll work on:
  • Improving balance and precision
  • Advanced turns and stopping techniques
  • Speed and smoother transitions
  • Skating confidently in indoor and outdoor settings

Intermediate

Take your skating to the next level with this course. Be ready to refine your technique and push your skills further.

Backwards

You'll spend four weeks developing your confidence and technique skating backwards. Whether you're starting out or looking to sharpen your backwards flow.
We'll cover:
  • Weight transfer and posture
  • Vision and orientation techniques
  • Backwards turns and manoeuvres
  • Stopping and navigating obstacles in reverse
You'll develop smoother, more controlled movement — with personalized guidance to meet your level.

Street-Skate

This workshop is designed to build your confidence and skills for skating in urban environments. It’s ideal for skaters who already know how to roll and are ready to take it to the streets.
Each week, we’ll focus on navigating the street safely, tackling common challenges, and building practical skills, including:
  • Stopping techniques (including T-stops)
  • Controlling speed on hills and uneven surfaces
  • Handling curbs and road transitions
  • Street awareness and road safety
If your goal is to feel more confident skating outdoors — whether commuting, cruising, or social skating — this course will give you a solid, safe foundation.

Chop & Shuffle

Ready to level up your backwards skating? This workshop is designed to help you master the fundamentals of the Chop & Shuffle style — combining control, creativity, and rhythm.
Each week, we’ll break down:
  • Crossovers and transitions
  • Shuffle footwork
  • Chop stops and directional flow
  • Building style and confidence
Whether you’re new to this technique or want to refine your skills, this course will help you gain balance, agility, and flair.

Our Drop-In Sessions allow you to book a single class from any of our ongoing courses or workshops — subject to availability.

  • You want to try a session before booking the full course
  • You’re only available on specific dates
  • You missed a class and need to catch up

A relaxed, flexible skating session open to all levels — whether you're just starting out or looking to practice independently. Bring your own skates or rent skates and pads from us. Perfect for both quad and inline skaters.
Our 1-hour indoor practice sessions are a great way to refine your technique, explore new moves, or simply enjoy skating in a safe and friendly space.
Skate at your own pace or ask our on-site instructor for tips, feedback, or help with specific techniques.
