Health & Safety Disclaimer and Liability Waiver

Purpose

The purpose of this Disclaimer and Notice is to make you aware of the potential risks connected with roller skating and related activities, and to help you make an informed decision about your participation in our sessions, classes, or events.

By booking or attending any Landshark Skating class, open session, or event (including those hosted by featured instructors through our platform), you agree to the terms set out in this Health & Safety Disclaimer and Liability Waiver.

If your ticket has been purchased for you by someone else, please note that by attending the session you are agreeing to these terms.

Medical Conditions and Participant Responsibility

At your first session, our coaches or session leaders may ask you to disclose any medical conditions—physical or mental—injuries, allergies, or medications that could affect your participation. Please be honest and transparent so we can adapt or make suitable recommendations for your safety.

Please note: Landshark Skating coaches and instructors are not medical professionals and cannot offer health or medical advice.

We strongly encourage all participants to consult a licensed physician before engaging in roller skating or any physical activity, particularly if you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns.

Disclaimer of Liability

Roller skating is a fun and rewarding activity, but like any sport, it carries risks of injury. By participating in any Landshark Skating activity, you voluntarily assume all risk of injury or damage.

Possible injuries include, but are not limited to:
  • Bruising, cuts, and general soreness

  • Muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries

  • Sprains, fractures, or broken bones

  • Head injuries or concussions

  • Joint or skeletal strain

  • Heart-related incidents

Landshark Skating, its instructors, guest coaches, and venue partners disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages and assume no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by participants or third parties as a result of participation.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

You should not take part in a skating activity if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, brittle bones, joint injuries, or any other condition that could be aggravated by physical activity.

If you are pregnant or postnatal, or believe you may be, please consult a doctor before attending. Participation in such cases is at your own risk.

Indemnity

In consideration of being allowed to participate in Landshark Skating activities, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Landshark Skating, its owners, staff, featured instructors, and venue partners from any loss, liability, claim, damage, or cost arising from participation, including legal fees or medical costs.

Landshark Skating reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone from a session, class, or venue for behavior that may cause damage, injury, or nuisance, or for failure to follow the reasonable instructions of our coaches or staff.

Safety and Equipment

Landshark Skating strongly recommends the use of personal protective equipment (helmets, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads) during all skating activities.

We accept no responsibility for injuries that may occur as a result of not wearing appropriate protective gear. Participants using their own skates and equipment are responsible for their maintenance and condition.

Landshark Skating cannot be held liable for accidents or injuries caused by faulty or improperly maintained personal equipment, venue conditions, other skaters, or members of the public.

Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused access to sessions or venues. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Confidentiality

All personal and medical information shared with Landshark Skating will be treated with strict confidentiality. Your data will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or for safety reasons.

Agreement

By booking or attending a Landshark Skating class, open session, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the above terms and conditions.
